Home Based Women Entrepreneurs Align With NAWBO

June 1, 2011 - St. Louis, Missouri - The Association of Home based Women Entrepreneurs (HBWE) announces their merger with the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) effective June 1, 2011.  www.nawbostl.org.

In an effort to better serve the membership of both organizations, leaders have negotiated a merger of the two groups under the NAWBO umbrella.  HBWE members will participate as full members of the NAWBO organization, including leadership, committee and advocacy opportunities.  The annual HBWE Entrepreneur Scholarship Award Program will now be available to NAWBO members.

St. Louis based Home Based Women Entrepreneurs specifically selects speakers and programs to meet the needs and interests of primarily women owned, sole proprietor, home-based businesses.  NAWBO, a national organization, includes a diverse membership of all business sizes from sole proprietor to large companies, as well as being a leader in small business advocacy.
